Project Background

Zhanjiang's Haichuan Avenue is a major planned road in the city's central urban area. It plays a significant role in advancing Potou District's development framework of 'One City, One Park, One Island, One Bay, One River' and in shaping Zhanjiang's 'One Bay, Two Coasts' metropolitan layout.

By the end of 2023, the expansion of Haichuan Avenue into an eight-lane dual carriageway significantly eased traffic congestion. However, with the increased traffic volume, the original road lighting system could no longer meet the demands of daily illumination and the requirements for smart city development."
