Dongling Power R&D Director Zhang Hongsheng introduced that in order to improve product stability and reliability, Dongling conducted in-depth research and analysis and rigorous testing processes on the MAP series circuit architecture. Because the MAP series adopts a single-pole PFC architecture solution, it is easily affected by induced lightning and power grid fluctuations, and causes heating problems. In order to solve these technical problems, the R&D engineers of Donling Power Supply carried out a series of optimization work. First, the power supply adopts a layout, which effectively copes with the impact of grid fluctuations on the power supply by quickly discharging surge current.


 


 
Secondly, in response to the heating problem, the R&D engineers specially used high thermal conductivity glue to assist heat dissipation and ensure that the power supply temperature is controllable. In addition, they also separated the heat source power devices and magnetic devices and placed them close to the shell to achieve faster heat dissipation.


At the same time, close discussions and cooperation were carried out with the shell supplier. Through thermal conduction design, the R&D team fully evaluated the thermal resistance and heat conduction path direction and accurately designed the shell shape. Combined with the aluminum material of the shell, the best solution was implemented to further enhance the heat dissipation capacity of the product.
